More about the sections
- Articles
Articles are approximately 800 to 1500 words in length and cover a specific subject in depth. Although long, these pieces must be written in an accessible style and easy to read online.
- Column series
Columnists write a series of six columns, each 500 to 750 words. They are often casual in tone and can be linked by theme (i.e. places I have celebrated the Eucharist) or perspective (i.e. life as a military chaplain). They must all provide a window into Canadian Anglican ministry.
- Videos
Each issue of MinistryMatters features a short (under five minutes) video about a Canadian Anglican ministry. Subjects can range from your church’s unusual Sunday school program to the preparation for your annual Christmas musical. Be creative!
Once your video idea is accepted, MinistryMatters will loan you, by mail, a simple video camera with basic editing software so you can film your ministry yourself.
